For ORF 3, artist Elisa Rose & composer-musician Gary Danner produced two new episodes of their television format "DIGITAL ART DIARY". In the new, 20-minute TV programs, performance meets real moments of their life as “pioneers of digital culture” (FAZ). Abstract image- & sound-sequences meet recordings of live performances, field trips, sketches, archive material & nature as important elements of their work.

The DIGITAL ART DIARIES 5 & 6 became aQUARANTINE DIARY under the current Covid-19 circumstances. It then turned out that the way of life of the artists, who created the term Digital Bohemian in Frankfurt in the mid-1990s (and by no means the Berlin journalists 10 years later), or their artistic self-experiment of "DIGITAL COCOONING" in 1996 are only now in the public eye. Everybody seems to be talking about home working etc. these days - the live @home sessions by STATION ROSE streamed on from 1999, which incidentally also appear prominently in the current TV programs, have been an integral part of their artistic way of life for 2 decades.

The two programs were produced during shutdown under Covid-19. It is precisely from this point of view that certain moments become particularly explosive. Take the field research trip to New York, for example, which took place in May 2019 in the course of data recovery of their early work - which is also a separate chapter of the show. In the new hotspot of the New York art scene, STATION ROSE move around 25th Street, in a noticeable spirit of optimism and at the same time a permanent construction site, in which the Underground used to live around the neglected piers, which was now upgraded to the Hudson Yards neighborhood with The Shed, Whitney & High Line etc.
The banking metropolis of Frankfurt also appears as a travel moment, as well as STR exhibitions with augmented & virtual reality, which could be seen in Karlsruhe & Vienna. Performances in the Haus der Kunst in Munich or at Cafe Korb in Vienna, for example, show performance situations which would be completely unthinkable at the moment.
