The first in a series of room-volume audiovisual concerts that will take place on Sunday afternoons after announcement. The digital A / V performances of the Rose station will be continued in the MQ in a new setting: "Sound system meets projections meets materialization". A / V performances have taken place in club culture, in museums, galleries, at festivals over the past 20 years, now they will transform room D of the MQ. Digital image loops (Elisa Rose) and sound loops (Gary Danner) serve as the basis for spontaneous improvisations, analog ingredients such as voice, theremin or guitar are incorporated. Elisa Rose & Gary Danner have been working intensively on this live AV art form since 1991, and they still see great potential in it. The audience can follow the process via projections & PA. The artists will build up an installation from digital & analog elements, over the course of the session, expand the space on site as an A / V playground, offer the guests a social gathering.
