My time has come,
so you have to go.
Digital art has finally arrived. The ancien régime must respond to the new circumstances. It is not a question of whether gallery owners, curators or journalists want this, it is a question of their survival.
This turnaround also brings with it an invasion of free riders. Curators and journalists who, a year ago, wanted little to do with digital art are emerging as connoisseurs and, once again, gatekeepers.
Digital art, as STATION ROSE understands it, is not an art form dropped into the lap of 30-year-olds by panspermia, but one that has been developed, refined, and realized through decades of focused work.
