We met Malcolm McLaren at a conference last year, held at a hotel at the Frankfurt Airport. Malcolm was giving the intro speech for the event, and we did perform live at the end. We partied all night long in Frankfurt, celebrating Gary s 36th birthday. It was great!!

STR homepage at The Well which got a Prix Ars Electronica honorable mention in 1995.

STR’s first Webpage at The WELL, 1995. After STR had finished the Ars Electronica CD-ROM, they
immediately started producing the next one, an abstract piece of StationRose art, called Icons, Morphs & Samples. It became a CD-Extra, released on Gunafa/PIAS, Germany. When it came out in February 95, STR had already begun to program their first homepage. Besides a visit to California, programming CD-ROMs and creating the homepage morphed into one another. STR stayed in the studio and in cyberspace, excluding R(eal) L(ife) more than ever before. STR had arrived where they always wanted to be, in the interactive on/offline Gunafa environment. They live a “Digital Bohemian Lifestyle” ever since.
